The Ex Vivo perfusion laboratory at the CRCHUM is pleased to once again welcome research interns for the summer of 2022. The students will work on various research projects including the use of Ex Vivo perfusion to recondition marginal lungs in experimental models, the use of Ex Vivo technology for organ donors after medical assistance in dying (MAiD), as well as projects studying primary graft dysfunction after lung transplantation in humans.
The Foundation is pleased to welcome Antoine Charest and Ba-Khang Nguyen, medical students at the University of Montreal, and CEGEP students Louka Vamvakas and Jessica Cristiano. The students will work under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Menaouar and Dr. Pasquale Ferraro.
