From the President
In 2004, a small but ambitious Foundation was born. Our mission was clear – to promote research and development in the field of thoracic surgery in Quebec. We had one clear objective, to create three endowed University Chairs, one in each of our three areas of expertise: thoracic oncology, lung transplantation and oesophageal diseases.
Over the past 20 years, the Foundation has been able to rely not only on the support and the unwavering commitment of its donors and sponsors, but also on the involvement of an extraordinary team of healthcare professionals, who act as ambassadors for our cause and support our pursuit of excellence in thoracic surgery.
It is thanks to the unconditional support of each and every one of you, year after year, if our Foundation has achieved its objectives and continues today to provide better patient care, to offer quality education and to perform cutting-edge research.
We want to thank you for making a difference day after day to the success of our Foundation and the pursuit of our mission.
