Tuscan Wine & Dine: $145 000 for Thoracic Surgery

On May 8, 2021, livestreamed from the Mirella and Lino Saputo Theatre at the Leonardo Da Vinci Centre, the Foundation held the 1st edition of its “Exclusive Virtual Evening: Tuscan Wine & Dine“.

From the comfort of their homes, guests enjoyed a gourmet meal from Ristorante Primo & Secondo, accompanied by delicious wines from the world-renowned wine producer Marchesi Antinori. They had the privilege of sharing an unforgettable evening with Mr. Enzo Reda, CEO of Viau Food Products and honorary president of the event and Dr. Pasquale Ferraro, President of the Foundation. In addition, Master Sommelier Ms. Élyse Lambert shared her passion for Antinori wines and her expertise during the tasting, executive chef Roberto Stabile shared his vision behind the choice of menu and Mr. Joe Cacchione hosted this splendid evening.

This evening of recognition for our major donors allowed us to raise an impressive $145 000 for our cause!

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the generous participants, sponsors, donors, collaborators and volunteers who ensured the incredible success of this event. We are always very grateful.

Your continued support over the years helps make exciting and innovative research projects come true in the field of Thoracic Surgery.
