April 20, 2024, marked the highly awaited return of our iconic Black & White Gala, where over 500 guests gathered at the Sheraton Laval to celebrate the Foundation\u2019s milestone 20th anniversary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was organized under the honorary presidency of Mr. Gr\u00e9goire Baillargeon, President, BMO, Quebec and Vice-Chair, BMO Capital Markets, who announced a major donation of $2M from BMO for the creation of the BMO – L. Jacques M\u00e9nard research chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This fabulous evening raised the remarkable sum of $2 460,000 in support of our main mission, to ensure excellence in clinical care, in education, and in research in the field of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Montreal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the generous participants, sponsors, donors, and collaborators who ensured the incredible success of this gala. We are forever grateful.
